The city of Oaxaca is graced with a dental college so it may have well trained dentists. It does have good places to get specialized dental supplies. Please note: We have been advised that visitors should pay particular attention in checking the qualifications of those dentists advertising that they have studied in northern American dental colleges and that they speak English. While dental services in Oaxaca are much less expensive than they may be in the States, look beyond the savings to assure that you will be happy with the quality of the work you have done.

The owner of this business is Araceli Rojas Santos and they provide all sorts of dental supplies and equipment. We met Nallely Mejía López there when we had a broken dental water pick we were hoping to replace while here in Oaxaca. They didn't have one in the shop at the time, but after making a few calls Nallely graciously sent us to a store that had some in stock.
